      sure, whatever

The first to state his case seems right until another comes and cross-examines him.

Most polling places are within walking distance of the people that vote there, but sure, give them a free bus ride. And most states have very cheap IDs if you don't drive. This is not a big problem Ox.
The reason these sorts of requirements are pushed back on is that they ALWAYS limit access to the poor and minorities over white middle class. So to increase the security, there need to be sufficient mitigations for those for whom they present a hardship to preclude those requirements biasing the vote..
BS. The reason they want no ID and voting from home is that it is easier to cheat. Illegals voting, ballot harvesting, fake ballots, etc. All easier to do with voting from home.

For the sarcastically impaired the following is said in jest

Oh, it was always 100% completely innocent and above board and was nothing but a coincidence that every time it took place it just so happened that every vote was for the Democrat.

Note that wanting official validation and oversight in an election will now get you labeled as an "election denier."

I'm always still in trouble again

In Georgia they're free if you can't afford it and they will even come to your place of residence to issue it if need be.

Abrams claimed that the election reforms were racist and designed to suppress the vote. Old Joe muttered something about them being "Jim Crow 2.0" and yet, instead of suppressing the vote we saw record smashing turnout in the primaries, the general election and the run-off.

ETA: But this didn't stop Joy Reid on MSNBC from calling Gov. Kemp "Champion Vote Suppressor" last night

When it became clear that the liberals were trying to use this as an excuse NOT to have ID, many jurisdictions called their bluff and said, "cool, we'll do....."

But, just like the "capitol police officer was bludgeoned to death with a fire extinguisher" lie - this bogus talking point just won't die.

They have to have some valid form of ID to apply for food stamps.

There's just so much bogus about this nutty claim that it comes down to the elite just thinking that "the little people" are too stupid to know how to navigate life without the elite "taking care" of them.

You mean like when old Joe said that blacks weren't smart enough to figure out how to go online?

Every once in a while they screw up and say out loud what they think privately.

Let's be honest here. Jeffries is being called out in an attempt to deflect from the 2020 denialism that has overtaken today's Republican Party. There's no comparison between rational doubts based on extensively documented election interference in 2016 directed by Putin himself and the frivolous tantrums of the 2020 guy laughed out of sixty courts of law.

Like Hunter's laptop and eternal life, you have to believe in it already to find the spin convincing.
