No, you'll say that it is very popular in spite of the evidence that it isn't, because you have decided that it must be popular. It just must be. Apparently there are still enough Americans who understand that there is no such thing as a free lunch and realize that the demented duffer is lying yet again when he pretends that spending $3.5 Trillion will cost us zero dollars.

I think the Dems really helped the opposition when they started claiming it will cost zero dollars.

If they claimed that it wouldn't add to the debt that might be different but most people aren't so stupid to believe that if you pay for something that means it doesn't cost anything

        • The personal cost of climate change:

On Friday, the Federal Emergency Management Agency will incorporate climate risk into the cost of flood insurance for the first time, dramatically increasing the price for some new home buyers. Next April, most current policyholders will see their premiums go up and continue to rise by 18 percent per year for the next 20 years.

The price hike under a new assessment, Risk Rating 2.0, will more accurately reflect the threat of flooding in a changing climate, federal officials say.

Most homeowners will see modest increases starting at $120 per year in addition to what they already pay, and a few will see their insurance costs decrease. But wealthy customers with high-value homes will see their costs skyrocket by as much as $14,400 for one year. About 3,200 property owners — mostly in Florida, Texas, New Jersey and New York — fall in that category.

Like the climate threat, the cost increase will reach far beyond the coast.

If you ask someone if they approve of debt, most say no. If you ask them whether they need and want new infrastructure, most say yes, even while they know that it costs money. They understand the need for investment in the future.

70% approve in W Virginia according to Rachel.

Ah, no wonder you didn't provide a link, you sneaky little commie ---- that poll was regarding voter rights, the way it's sold, not the way it's written.

It does NOT have anything at all to do with the 3.5 TRILLION dollar boondoggle of the commie left.

Ordinarily liberals would be howling with outrage over "big business" bilking customers out of their hard-earned money, but since this is being done in the name of climate change, they'll cheer it on instead.

Is she also the source for your claim that most Republicans like the $3.5 Trillion boondoggle?

Not the sky, insurance premiums, not falling but rising. In time you won’t get any insurance at all.

I thought you would be happy with the super rich having to pay more

Meanwhile Biden's inflation is eating folks alive and going to be getting worse.

Prices are up big time here too. Being blamed on Brexit+Covid induced shortage of HGV drivers.

it is important for every generation to do their bit for the next, and not just sit back and enjoy the benefits provided to them by earlier generations. As we stand on their shoulders, the least we can do is prevent the collapse.

And stop listening to fools like Alex Jones.

It is sad that Christians don’t see the world that way, but instead indulge in magical thinking, and look forward to the apocalypse.

                              • People might want infrastructure, meaning roads and bridges, but the Dems have redefined infrastructure to mean anything they want to spend money on. Welfare, Socialized Healthcare, free* internet, free* phones, basic income (free* money), etc.

*by free they mean, make everyone who works pay for everyone who doesn't)
