I remember watching shows from across the pond in the 90s and aughts and being shocked at the end and going back through the show and now spotting the clues but now... not so much.
Maybe it has to do with shows that make it over here but I've even noticed in the new Doctor Who's, where once it was very difficult to foresee the ending, now if you haven't figured it out you simply weren't paying attention.

So they admit that they are nervous that this "investigation" is turning into yet another dud just like Mueller's probe of the Russian Collusion Delusion hoax.
Further down the Atlantic lets it slip that the purpose of the committee has nothing to do with investigating the riot but is designed to boost Democrat's political fortunes when they whine "So whatever the committee finds, it’s hard to see it substantially altering the political landscape."
I saw another one today, but the language wouldn't have allowed a link even if I recalled the source.
