I think it is clear, as the rate of intact families diminish so does financial ability. I'm not sure what your problem is.

my problem is that your chart doesn't give any such information. I am not arguing that single moms make less than a couple does on average, I am just wondering the point of even having a chart that doesn't have anything to do with what single moms make in a thread about single mom incomes?

And rather than having more single moms dragging down average income, it could be the other way around, having less income causes more single moms. Especially if they get more welfare for more kids. Or it could be some other factor that caused different races to have more or fewer single moms. Maybe, for example, Asians have a more sense of honor, so they will more likely marry a girl they get pregnant, than say a white, or black man.
