As Police Chaplain, I'll be part of a mulitjurisdictional working breakfast this Saturday dealing with exactly this kind of thing --- how to respond to threats in a balanced manner. Not because of this, but because of a whole bunch of behind-the-scenes stuff that the Irving school officials and police were ALSO aware of, and which may have had an impact on the way they reacted.

How did anyone ever get that idea :-/
