That's the meme that they're now trying to push. That these multi-millionaire blacks are nothing but slaves on a plantation. Of course if that's the way they feel they can simply quit (something slaves never had an option to do).

I'm always still in trouble again

Actually they are counting on the public being that stupid.

      As previously noted

The owners of the business has a right to tell his players they cannot use his business as a platform for their antics. Do it on your own time.
Yeah, they do, and the players have the right to ignore the owners and protest regardless.

That's an incredibly boorish way to throw those who broke the color barrier in sports under the bus.

And the owners have the right to bench them or fire them.

None of these goons were alive when the color barrier in sports was broken.

Yes the owners do have that right, except that without the players the owners lose. Besides, its seems that for the most part the owners sided with the players, not with the president.

Um... what? So now the players are supposed to be upset they're earning millions of dollars to play a game?

Of course they did. Not only do they need their players but those who agree with the protests should be applauding them...they're making a stand against injustice to their fellow countrymen. "Injustice" is not what the anthem and flag stand for.

For which the owners would have the right to fire them.

Because we're all familiar with the concept of chattel slaves being paid millions of dollars to play a game.

I assume that is a rhetorical question.

Apparently it was effective so money well spent.
