Hopefully the title was self-explanatory enough, but wouldn't it be more effective to make an important issue more politically neutral?
Climate change -- focusing on ANTHROPOGENIC climate change -- has to be addressed.
Now how about addressing the issues that CAN AFFECT climate change?
The two biggest issues are fossil fuel use and deforestation. Fossil fuel use can only be addressed with extreme ramping up of alternative energies.
So why don't push the rhetoric towards alternative energies?
And EXPLAIN why this is necessary and important -- for EVERYONE, not just liberals...
The upshot -- emphasize an issue which should be obvious to all, and not "abstract".
