It is the sort of thing that were it occurring elsewhere one might expect the USA to be threatening international sanctions.
Happily, it doesn't seem to have done them much good. So far.
Unhappily, American values have been tossed aside like trash...

He could however have advised a nation wide lockdown as well as other measures as guidelines for states to follow in order to stop the spead within states as well as between states instead of pooh poohing it and suggesting like magic it will just go away.

People complain about having federal agents protect a federal building but are fine with governors doing illegal actions.
The governors are not permitted to make executive orders to shutdown the economies. They are violating the state constitutions and are allowing revolutionaries to take over cities.

The riots are because police are too aggressive and "militarized".
The jackwagon local "authorities" allow the anarchists to take control for FIFTY NIGHTS of riots and chaos, and are unwilling and/or incapable of maintaining order.
A FEDERAL building is under attack, local "authorities" do nothing, so FEDERAL POLICE are called in.
Now, get this ---- even though the original complaint is "the police are too militarized", who do the leftist nutters want to come in and restor order? The MILITARY!
And, how would the MILITARY arrive? Jeeps, trucks, armored personnel carriers, MILITARY vehicles....
What would they be carrying? MILITARY weapons.
I mean, SHEEEEESH!!!! How NUTTY can this get?The first to state his case seems right until another comes and cross-examines him.

Ya SEE THAT, Jim? KILL COPS
There are legitimate ways to deal with the problem other than creating such a force.Last edited by Cow Poke; 07-18-2020, 08:21 PM.The first to state his case seems right until another comes and cross-examines him.

As for the "secret police", here's a picture of "the bad guys" from one of the sites complaining about the "secret police"....
border police.jpeg
CLEARLY labeled "POLICE" on their backs, and shoulder patches say "BORTAC" - US Border Patrol. The first to state his case seems right until another comes and cross-examines him.

Sometimes it is wise to be skeptical, otherwise you'll find yourself believing everything you see on Twitter.

We're talking about FEDERAL POLICE coming to the rescue of a FEDERAL building. They are not there to attack and kill citizens, they are there to defend and protect FEDERAL EMPLOYEES from the rioters, looters and out of control leftist loonies.

Jim, are you PURPOSELY being obtuse? Trump didn't "create" this force -- they are part of Homeland Security, which was started by BUSH after 9/11.
And they are arresting people without cause. We can not allow this to proceed unchecked. You clearly know nothing about world history or oppressive authoritarian regimes. Most of all, you clearly are naive in terms of the precarious balance law and restraint of power that all our freedoms rest on. It's as if you know nothing of why we have the separation of powers, of how easy it is for any nation to slip into authoritarian practices, of how dangerous too much power is in the hands of a single person. Did you sleep through your history classes?Last edited by oxmixmudd; 07-18-2020, 09:54 PM.My brethren, do not hold your faith in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ with an attitude of personal favoritism.
