Then why haven't republicans sponsered their own bill? Because they have no intentions of passing one. It's a wierd thing as well, because a majority of their own constituency is pro DACA.

This decision means that from now on all any president needs to do is sign Executive Orders early on in their term so that they will have affected a number of people by the time a predecessor tries to reverse them but will now be prevented from doing so.

DACA was not an executive order, it was a prioritizing of enforcement. And executive orders can be challenged in court, obviously.

Sounds like the SCOTUS didn't care for the claim that the program was illegal to begin with. Very close decison. And DOJ can bring up the matter again.

SCOTUS made the decision based on DACA being legal. You know, this is the Supreme Court.
