As somebody who is probably more open to socialistic policies than anyone else on the mod staff, I don't have any time for the quote. It's anachronistic because the idea of socialism wasn't around at the time of Jesus.

"I am not angered that the Moral Majority boys campaign against abortion. I am angry when the same men who say, "Save OUR children" bellow "Build more and bigger bombers." That's right! Blast the children in other nations into eternity, or limbless misery as they lay crippled from "OUR" bombers! This does not jell." - Leonard Ravenhill

I can appreciate the form and structure of an argument without agreeing with it's conclusions. That is what I meant when I said I "liked" the signature. I thought it was a creative turn of phrase. I have no opinion on Jesus' politics. The ultimate weakness of violence is that it is a descending spiral begetting the very thing it seeks to destroy...returning violence for violence multiplies violence, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars. The first to state his case seems right until another comes and cross-examines him.

That said, I think the quote is dumb and the whole "Jesus was a socialist" thing is beyond ridiculous.I DENOUNCE DONALD J. TRUMP AND ALL HIS IMMORAL ACTS.
