Your “nonsense” doesn’t make it so. Having been a teacher and sub for a K-12 system, I understand the
logistics involved. When it is an entire subject, like “sex ed”” it can be accommodated to some degree. When parents ask for the right to opt out of topics within classes, the logistics quickly grow nightmarish. The school cannot be a buffet where every parent chooses their menu items.

Unless I missed something, there is nothing in that article about children being “forced” to read these books. It simply says, “exposed to.” Do you have any other sources that support the claim that the kids are being “forced” to read them?

Some are simply available on the shelves in classrooms and libraries for free selection. There is a world of difference between “forced” and “exposed to.”

And the lawsuit was about “religious liberty,” and you have not made the case that any religious liberties were transgressed. So I’m still not seeing the problem with the judicial decision.

Some of them just contain imagery and text considered too obscene to be detailed at school board meetings by the very school board putting them into the schools.

If this is true, then the school boards are being inconsistent and should be replaced. If it can be read in the classroom - it should be something that can be read at a school board meeting.
