I'm initially inclined to think there's something to this but it raises some interesting questions: Why was Dotcom sitting on this information for nearly a year, even through the actual election, given that he had a personal vendetta against Obama? It seems interesting that he waited until after a court ruled against him that his extradition could proceed to speak up, to say the least.
