More than a little bit of projection here, methinks.

      You would.
The first to state his case seems right until another comes and cross-examines him.

Some people, people who are interested do, and some people, people who are not interested, do not.

Given Tass's bio says he's a hotel manager, one possibility is that the hotel plays CNN on the screens and he was on the desk during a slow day so he watched the screen.

Or he could just be genuinely interested in politics, like others here. Most US political commentators I follow said they watched the whole healthcare vote process.

The William Browder testimony at the Senate Judiciary Committee was live-screened relatively late in the evening Thai time...where I'm based. Very relaxing with a glass or three of Chivas Regal in hand.

It made fascinating viewing to see the devastating impact of the Magnitsky Act on Putin's personal finances and the lengths he's prepared to go to get the Act repealed. Browder made it abundantly clear this is the motivation underlying Russian attempts to put Trump in power. And the quid-quo-pro was to have been the the repeal of the Magnitsky Act, which would 'unfreeze' billions of dollars of Putin's personal wealth and that of his fellow oligarchs.

The "outsider" is doing a very effective job of doing this to himself. Donald Trump has been in one catastrophe after the next and there is no sign of that stopping.

                    Huh. Thanks for the insight.

I don't think I've ever tried Chivas Regal. I should remedy that.
