    I agree.
A good start would be to get all of our troops out of the middle east.
Actually YOU put Trump in the White House. He wouldn't have gotten 1% of the vote if it wasn't for the widespread spiritual and cultural devastation caused by progressive policies. There's no "this country" left with your immigration policies, your "allies" are worthless and even more suicidal than you are and democracy is a sick joke that I hope nobody ever thinks about repeating when the current order collapses. - Darth_Executor striking a conciliatory note in Civics 101

      You're converting to Islam, then?

I think the West should stop interfering in Muslim countries, that and ruthlessly squash any attempts by Muslims to invade in any way. And don't let Muslims of fighting age from countries that America has recently bombed immigrate into America. Agree? That might help.

But this is all off topic, anyway.

Do you condemn the use of violence to suppress free speech and other political views to your own?

Where do you think things in America are heading?

The only way to "make friends" with the terrorists and radical muslim nations would be to totally capitulate to them and surrender our countries to theirs. Starting with Israel.

Just like the Nazi's in WW2. Sure we could have peace as long as we let them have their way and didn't fight back. Look how that turned out.

Irrelevant. The topic is: Do you support or condemn the use of violence against political opponents and the exercise of free speech? Yes or no?

Where is America heading with all this? Is a return to peaceful political discourse possible? Will it happen?

Islam is not the religion of peace, it is the religion of submission, and those who refuse to submit are sentenced to death under Islamic law.

Actually, it makes a lot of sense if you look at it from a spiritual perspective. Those who are of this world will naturally befriend anybody who is opposed to the Gospel.

You know that liberals and atheists have been referring to evangelicals in the US as "the Christian Taliban" for years now and calling your attempts to establish religiously based laws in the US "Christian Sharia"? From the point of view of many of us very little separates you guys from the nuttiest of the Muslims.

Which goes with recent polls that shows that something like 2/3 of liberals think Christians are at least as violent as Muslims. You guys live in your own little world strikingly similar to "Bizarro World"

Really? Where are these polls, and who did they poll, specifically? And what muslims were they referring to? The vast majority who live in western society quite peacefully & don't blow anyone up, or ISIS specifically?

Well, US evangelicals are viewed with a certain bemusement true, but I haven't heard anyone compare them to the taliban.

There's a difference to the violence propagated by the taliban and similar groups, and certain US evangelicals who are dangerous in other ways- removing evolution from schools, women's health, etc.

Conflating the two lessens the atrocities committed by the taliban and like minded people. Much like the over use of racism, sexism, homophobia and the like.

It was a poll conducted by CBS and released February 3 where 66% of Democrat respondents said that the Islamic Religion does not encourages violence any more than other religions (such as Christianity, Judaism or Buddhism). 14% said it did encourage violence more. In contrast 63% of Republicans say it does encourage more violence with 25% saying it doesn't.
