I believe it's to be Kyle's first media interview post-trial. Tucker said he and his staff have spent a lot of time with Kyle and his family the past several days

With all the documented high profile twitter posts and MSM articles pre-trial smearing him with lies, I can't imagine how he wouldn't have a slam dunk.

In an honest world? Absolutely. In this crazy world in which we find ourselves? Who knows.

Honestly, I can't stomach Anderson Cooper so I couldn't say. I did watch part of an NBC interview he did on YouTube and he told about 5 lies that contradicted both testimony and the videos.

I'd prefer he did an interview with Tarl Warwick (aka Styxenhammer). He's a Libertarian YouTuber who would be a good coach for launching civil suits against the MSM, DeBlasio, Newsom and Biden. He wants to see Rittenhouse get rich.

Carlson just seems a bit, um, sensationalistic?

                • Question?

At the end of the trial, as the judge was addressing the jury, Kyle walked out of the courtroom. Had he been dismissed by the judge? Just wondering why he left at that particular moment......

Yes, immediately after the verdict was read, the judge announced that Kyle was free to go. It's not unusual, then, for the judge to address the jury. Kyle was no longer under the authority of the judge at that point, but the jury had not yet been dismissed.

Got it. I must have missed the part where the judge told Kyle he was free to go. Thanks, my dear friend!

OK, I think I stand corrected - I found an actual script of the reading of the verdict here - https://www.rev.com/blog/transcripts...-on-all-counts
The judge doesn't appear to actually tell Kyle he's free to go.

However, in our courts, it's pretty much a foregone conclusion that a "not guilty" verdict releases the defendant. It was obviously his attorneys (Kyle was kinda hyperventilating still) who let Kyle know it's over and he was free to go.

Yeah, I guess I've been in so many courtrooms, and so used to that "you're free to go" after the verdict, that I must have "heard it in my head".

I think the judge said it earlier, around the time the jury went into deliberations. I recall him saying if found "not guilty" that he would be free to leave. At the same time, he said there would be plenty of officers ready to escort him, if needed.
