You asked him for examples of patriarchy in our nearest (evolutionary) relatives. That data was provided.

You appear to be confused again. Or is that still?

It wasn't seer but YOU who implied that patriarchy didn't exist among primates and laid down the following challenge:

Now show me where you find anything like that among our nearest relatives.

And it was that challenge that I answered.

I'm always still in trouble again

Patriarchy as understood within human societies does not exist among anthropoid apes.

Patriarchy is about male dominance, which we find in our primate cousins. Or are you denying a natural link to human male dominance?

You asked for an example of a natural occurrance, but you defined that natural occurance using distinctly human trappings, so as to claim it's not in the natural world.

There was a reason why your specific definition was ignored: It's like asking someone to prove that fighting over mates happens in nature, but restricting the definition of fighting over mates to only include firearms and metal knives. Or asking someone to prove that visual sexual attraction happens in nature, but limit that definition to the use of clothing that makes female boobs look larger than normal.

Patriarchy exists, it exists in nature, and if it is natural for humans to do, it will be expressed in the ways that humans develop, organize, and behave. That expression does not have to mimic what happens in the natural (read: non-human) world for it to still be based off of natural behavior.

                  This is what I wrote:

                  Patriarchy:

a form of social organization in which the father is the supreme authority in the family, clan, or tribe and descent is reckoned in the male line, with the children belonging to the father's clan or tribe.
a society, community, or country based on this social organization.
a social system in which power is held by men, through cultural norms and customs that favour men and withhold opportunity from women:
The systematic domination of women by men in some or all of society’s spheres and institutions

Now show me where you find anything like that among our nearest relatives.

Patriarchal behaviour among other primates is not demonstrated in the way humans apply it.

It was a perfectly straightforward question and premised on the definitions I provided.
