well "our" side includes a lot of extreme nuts too. You have the white supremacists, for example. And some of the more radical militia groups. So it's not really that big of a surprise that we have some violence at protests, just not as common as at a liberal protest.

Yes, and we call them out and denounce their extremist actions --- we don't try to make excuse for them, coddle them, and lie about their "peaceful protests" while buildings burn and police are attacked.

The first to state his case seems right until another comes and cross-examines him.

I suspect the building will need to be thoroughly swept for any possible bugging devices, surveillance equipment etc, and of course with a laptop missing the entire internal computer network is now compromised. Fumigation will also be required to remove any risk of Covid. Who knows where their grubby little hands had been.

This shows profound ignorance of things technical, and even viral. But, hey, you got to rant!

It was a very dark day, in my opinion, but we are resilient. Capitol operations continued that very night.

Yes, we all know that Trump supporters have poor hygiene.

America's Bastille Day has come and gone and will soon be a footnote in history books.

That's what they wear in my region. I see people in fatigues all the time. It is a trend.

I just don't think it was a huge deal. There have been more outrageous episodes in American history, like a sitting Vice President shooting and killing Alexander Hamilton.

People 20 years from now will look at it in history books, yawn, and say "That was weird."
