I do believe there were very competent members of Trump's cabinet. The problem was with Trump. He fired or forced to resign more cabinet members than any president in history.. Many have have their names on the door writing in pencil followed by 'Acting'. Competence most often results in firing by Trump with a few embarrassing resignations due to poor performance.
