I can say that neither Republicans nor Democrats have any real plan to fix the decline of the middle class or the problem of stagnating wages, mostly because no one really knows what exactly is driving those trends.
... but at least Democrats aren't proposing killing Medicare and Medicaid or opening up $10+ trillion revenue holes that will prevent any sort of capacity to preserve your welfare and run the rest of the government.
There's only one serious party in the 2016 election, making the choice easy.
