he never said he would. He was talking about how food and goods gets to him. Commercial trucking using public roads. Fire departments, EMTs, and Police also use public roads and benefit him even though he may never drive on a single road himself.

No, I actually use everything I mentioned. I have used both fire and police and roads. And others use roads to get stuff to me.

Listen bonehead, how much have you personally helped people in these situation? I have helped dozens over the years and still do with money and time (not that I'm bragging because I could do so much more). This is what is wrong with most liberals - they want to use other peoples money through the tax code to help poor - then they can feel good about themselves without ever getting personally involved or getting their hands dirty...

Nit to pick here...most residential roads are built by the developers of the property (at least here in Texas) and then ceded to the city/town for maintenance purposes. So tax dollars are used to maintain them after the fact... Most city park land is donated to the city and sometimes they require the developer to build roads for it...most of this donated land is in creek bottoms prone to flooding or other undesirable locations so houses can't or won't be built there
