Not surprisingly, I'm the one who missed 6.
-The universe begins to look more like a great thought than a great machine.
      Sir James Jeans

-This most beautiful system (The Universe) could only proceed from the dominion of an intelligent and powerful Being. All variety of created objects which represent order and Life in the Universe could happen only by the willful reasoning of its original Creator, whom I call the Lord God.

First Amendment: Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.[1]

Well now that's just cheating, sneaking two things into one amendment like that
Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong.
          1 Corinthians 16:13

which probably have half a brick in them and a few blood stains. Or as some people like to call it, evidence.

The First Amendment has more than two things. It covers freedom of religion, speech, press and assembly. And it isn't alone. For instance, the Fifth covers the need for Grand Jury indictments for capital and infamous crimes, double jeopardy, self-incrimination, due process and compensation for the taking of property by the government.

The memory ain't what it used to be.

In 9th grade my Civics teacher got mad at he class and required us to memorize all of the Constitutional Amendments in order. I handed in the list a few minutes later[1] and spent the rest of the week doodling and doing homework for other classes. Last year a friend of mine's son was having trouble in his U.S. History class and I discovered that I couldn't remember three of them and got the order of two mixed up.

                          1. I think this had a lot to do with spending 1st through part of 8th grade just outside of Washington D.C. where everything was government. If you got a word question in math it had to do with appropriations. If you diagramed a sentence in English it was usually something from the Constitution or Declaration of Independence.

I'm always still in trouble again

Atleast you didn't have to learn a whole new constitution while you were in high school.
