Yeah, it is, when the student has ample access to any number of dictionaries where he could confirm that what the teacher tells him is correct.
America - too good to let the conservatives drag it back to 1950.

Unfortunately, there is no authoritative book on Trump. They are all written by people who are out to get him, you see.

And while it's possible to tell from his own words that he lies, all politicians lie, so that's not so important, you see.

Sure it does. Biden's a pedo. Supporting him makes you a pedo supporter.

When the third grader is on record (many times) talking about the virtues of personal responsibility, the longer the mistake is repeated, the more deplorable the third grader gets.

In the various realms upon which Trump has bestowed and repeated lies, there are plenty: scientists, government officials with decades of experience, etc.

There's lots of information available showing that the man is incompetent and dishonest. These "authoritative books on Trump" are intentionally being ignored, which is why the support is deplorable.

There aren't any mistakes being made by the voters, here. It's all being done willfully, in spite of facts and truth. It's a culture war, Stoic.

As I described it, it is not a mistake.

In the bubble in which most Trump supporters live, those are not authoritative sources.

It's a culture war, but most Trump supporters are pawns, not leaders.

                  "Pawns"?

Who - precisely - are they victims of?

No, "mistake" was how *I* described the third-grader whose spelling errors could be caused by several things. One is someone who's simply ignorant of how a word is spelled; another is someone who knows how to spell the word correctly, and chooses not to.

Trump supporters are clearly in the latter category. They're not making mistakes; they're choosing to spell incorrectly - which is why they're deplorable.

Sure, there MIGHT be a few Drumpf supporters out there who consume no media, and are actually ignorant of the nature of the person they're supporting. They're like unicorns, though: so rare as to be negligible except in the rarefied atmosphere of internet pedanticism...

It is now conservative fantasy that the Obama administration seeded a two year long witch hunt.

One could say that...they'd be wrong, but they could say it.

The current version of Trump is the 'normal' version of Trump, and is entirely his own creation.

Democrats are completely innocent in Trump's debacle; he and the Republicans own it entirely.

No, the facts make the accusations true. I know conservatives aren't fond of facts, but they don't make Trump look good.

Trump and those close to him, along with Republican politicians.

You evidently live in a different bubble than they do. Otherwise you would realize that they really believe that the liberal media and deep state are out to get Trump, and that scientists are atheist liberals who go along with the liberal agenda rather than search for truth. Any sources that might correct them are already considered corrupt.

                                In reality? Certainly. Unlike Trumpites.
