I don't think that's a fair characterization of the thread's subject.

Obviously, someone who says they only hire the best and brightest can be assumed to be bragging or exaggerating to some degree. If we look to the employee retention / firing rate of the Trump administration though, it's easy to see that he's fundamentally incompetent at hiring qualified people.

This assumes we take him at his word, of course, and that the people he fired were fired for good reason. If we don't take him at his word (and really, only stupid people would), then it becomes easy to see that he should never be in charge of hiring or firing people. Not even for his own businesses. Anyone who thought otherwise would have been conned by him.

Once again, we are talking about politicians here. I'm not impressed with the vast majority of them.

I would have thought the terms wacko's liars would have appeared under the dictionary definition of the word politician.

Honestly I tend not to trust any of them. Never have done. Even here in the UK. In the UK a lot of us tend to be really cynical when it comes to politicians.
