Trump's "coronavirus bump" is officially dead. As of this morning, his approval rating is pretty much back in pre-coronavirus territory.

His history is mostly of hands-across-the-aisle cooperation and compromise. It's how he built his reputation. If the Republicans show one iota of willingness to do so, instead of digging in their heels with a "my way or the highway" approach, and an almost complete shut-out of Democratic involvement, we might see an end to gridlock.
My guess is they will do what they did with Obama and obstruct incessantly.
