In fact, the Constitution gives the President of the United States the authority to use military action without informing Congress and without formally declaring war. Just because the Democrats call it "an act of war" because one of their terrorist buddies was taken out doesn't make it so.

Iran has been at war with the US since the US Embassy hostage situation in 1979. They've just been doing it by proxy.

Yet he felt totally free to fly all over the middle east setting up and equipping militias to fight against us, and flew into Baghdad Airport like a visiting diplomat...

And, somebody (Rouge?) had mentioned earlier that the Saudis would probably be supportive if this action, even if they don't do it publicly, because their ambassador was on Soleimani's hit list.

Perhaps we should have allowed Soleimani to kill this ambassador in DC, along with whatever collateral US citizens, and THEN hunt him down?

And I love how the liberals are backed into saying, "yes, Soleimani was a bad bad buy, BUT....."

Curiously, Obama undermined an Israeli plan to take out Soleimani in 2015 by warning Iran of Israel's intentions.

He was visiting as a diplomat. He had a scheduled diplomatic meeting that morning with the Iraqi Prime Minister, who says the topic of the meeting was to be Saudi proposal to de-escalate tensions in the region. That's why everyone knew where this guy would be and when (it was published in the NYT before the attack that he was going to be flying into the airport that day).

That's one reason the Iraqis are so pissed about this, because you nutters assassinated a visiting diplomat who they'd scheduled to be there to meet with them to do peace talks. The next time they try to invite someone to come do peace talks with them, that person is likely to refuse because of this incident, and that's not Iraq's fault, so they're rightly annoyed.

No credit to the military personnel who actually carried out the strike huh? I thought you guys liked to thump your chests and pretend to be pro-military? Seems to me you just like getting them killed by advocating for endless wars for them to die in.

Instead of attributing success to a competent military and brave personnel you attribute success to breaking the law. Trump is legally required to inform congress of such actions. Guess you're not for rule of law either huh? It's kinda sad how few principles you guys have and how many of your pretend ones you gleefully sacrifice in order to kill a few more people. It's hilarious you actually believe you are Christians.
