Some of that article is valid criticism - but only some. Pointing out what happens under Sharia law is not hate speech (unless it is a false report) - it is simply a matter of documenting what really happens. The points criticised by the article are records of actual processes and events - therefore NOT hate speech. AND - given that (roughly) 75% of moderate Muslims can be expected to support the introduction of Sharia law, there is legitimate cause for concern. The left should take note that many of their favourite causes would be met with violent reprisal under Sharia law ... the fact should give them pause to consider their support for Islamic agendas. It doesn't.

Sadly, the Southern Poverty Law Center has more than lost its way ... The list of hate groups has kept getting longer and longer while our nation has become more tolerant of those who are different ... Make no mistake, SPLC will continue labeling more and more conservative and Christian groups as hate groups.

Well of course they're a hate group - just look at all the hardship they cause (to them as calls fair-play hardship.)

Breitbart isn't propaganda. It's a serious news organization with an admitted strong conservative bias. I've often challenged the critics here to point out stories from Breitbart that are factually incorrect or even fabricated (you know, the kind of stuff that is regularly published by BuzzFeed, CNN, the New York Times, Washington Post, etc.), and they always come up empty. carpedm offered the novel conspiracy theory that the only reason Breitbart publishes "factually straight" stories is as a deceptive ruse to prevent their critics from being able to claim that Breitbart doesn't report the facts.

Yes, breitbart is propaganda, but you wouldn't know propaganda when you see it which is why it works.

There was a bit of toing and froing, and the misreporting issues seem to be somewhat resolved, with appropriate adjustments to the MBFC data: which goes to show that they are willing to acknowledge an error when they get smacked on the head hard enough.
Nonetheless, the exchanges did show that everything checked on MBFC should be shifted leftward a bit. If they report a right-wing bias, shift that report closer to centre ... if they report a left-wing bias, shift it further from centre.
