Just saw this. I have to admit that I am of two minds on this.

On the one hand, I dislike Trump's arrogant pomposity and self-aggrandizement, his "strong-man" tendencies, and his history of misogyny. So to have a powerful woman leader "school" him on the co-equal nature of the two branches of government, and the need for him to recognize he's not going to have it "all his way," tickles me no little bit.

On the other hand, I want to see that vile man out of office, and that could be compromised if Pelosi overplays her hand and takes obstructionist action without a decent rationale.

I recognize that NO rationale will convince Trump's base: Pelosi will always be "consumed by hate and a need to win" to them. And nothing she does will be seen as "obstructionist" by the far left if it "sticks it to Trump." But the votes of those wings are a foregone conclusion. It's that all-important middle I am concerned about. For the past two years it has been leaking away from Trump. The last month accelerated that. It would be a shame for some injudicious choices by Pelosi to compromise that.

She should, IMO, take steps to schedule the SOTU ASAP.

    A) See? I told you Pelosi was evil!
    2) Shouldn't the title of the thread be The SOTU?

I think Pelosi and Schumer are both allowing Trump to drag them down to less than professional.... and Schumer is really a jackass the way he's boasting of "teaching Trump a lesson".
The first to state his case seems right until another comes and cross-examines him.

Actually - yes - that would be kind of fun...
