Really its just uncivilised to do something like that. Protests have a time and a place, and I think politicians have a right not to be harrassed. Same as any body.

Also the last thing US liberals want is for conservatives to start fighting back like that.
It would get really ugly really fast if it became a normalised part of the public discourse.

So are you guys against the First Amendment now?
A one-off, non-violent, free speech, protest, of a democratic politician, by the people, in a public venue, upsets you? That's pretty pathetic snowflakism.
What could possibly be more foundationally democratic and in line with American values, than a public protest against a politician? This is what your country is supposed to be all about."I hate him passionately", he's "a demonic force" - Tucker Carlson, in private, on Donald Trump
"Every line of serious work that I have written since 1936 has been written, directly or indirectly, against totalitarianism and for democratic socialism" - George Orwell
"[Capitalism] as it exists today is, in my opinion, the real source of evils. I am convinced there is only one way to eliminate these grave evils, namely through the establishment of a socialist economy" - Albert Einstein
