First, that's not the legal definition of hearsay. Second, it is not the responsibility of victims of crimes to gather their own corroborating evidence. Third, the tiny percentage of false rape accusations makes it ludicrous to be skeptical of rape accusations by default.

Lilpix, she hasn't the the info to go on. That's why an unbiased FBI investigation of the matter is necessary. Dr Ford gave the version of events that she could remember from 35 years ago, an investigation of other witnesses could fill in the missing details.

I'm completely ignorant about what an FBI investigation entails, so this question is purely inquisitive, but how exactly is an FBI investigation different from a "he said she said" inquiry?

A "he said she said" is simply the accusers word against the accused's. An investigation seeks out corraborating evidence in support of the one or the others story's

It's not. The FBI will submit forms FD-302, which document to whom they spoke, date, time, place - and what they said. Besides, it won't matter a hill of beans, because the Dems have already decided "no way, Jose". THAT's the real sham.
