She would have been better off to say "by that time, they had left", but, yeah.... for what she describes, it would be truly remarkable if her "friends" didn't run outside after yelling, "Wait, what happened?"

She can't say they left because in her letter to Feinstein, she says that the others met Judge and Kavanaugh at the bottom of the stairs, so there's no way she could have run down the stairs and out of the house without everybody seeing her. Yet none of them recall this remarkable occurrence.

Don't know, but I do know that he claims he has kept them in detail - like a diary - since before high school, because his Dad did. That should lay to rest anybody proposing that he "came up with these" for the period in question. And, yes, he comes across as quite authentic.

Interesting how he pointed out that the women who support him have been vilified... I wish he would have said "as opposed to the woman who accused me, who has been praised...." But he's doing great - from the heart - the passion comes across as genuine, not rehearsed.
