As you may have guessed this was written before Trump became the president.

It could well be - and it seems totally reasonable - that Pence is biding his time to step into the Presidency as a much better answer than Trump.

I have a hard time seeing anybody's vice president successfully running as a distinct alternative to that person."I am not angered that the Moral Majority boys campaign against abortion. I am angry when the same men who say, "Save OUR children" bellow "Build more and bigger bombers." That's right! Blast the children in other nations into eternity, or limbless misery as they lay crippled from "OUR" bombers! This does not jell." - Leonard Ravenhill

Show me where Pence has explicitly supported Trump's immorality. Working with or for someone does not imply that you support everything they do and say. Case in point, many of my coworkers swear, drink, and smoke and hit on women when they're out on the road, even some of the attached and married guys. I don't, and I hope that my example can be a positive influence in their lives and a reflection of Christ. I wouldn't be surprised if Mike Pence operates with the same attitude. Some may call me foolish, and some may call me odd

Originally posted by Charles View PostIt appears you missed the point. Pence said we need a president who could be a role model:
After having said that somehow he still finds that the thrice married porn star obsessed Trump is fit to be president. He sees no stop sign, it appears. So the words meant nothing at all in practical matters, am I right.
He sat on the high horse but in the real world, in practical matters, it did not mean anything at all, right?
And did he explicitly say a man like Trump was not fit to be the role model of all we have been and can be again? Nope. I have never said he explicitly supported Trumps immorality. But we all know he did not see it as a stop sign.
The words meant nothing at all when they were to be directed against an administration of which he was a part, it seems.
It makes a good case for him to provide moral guidance some seem to think. They should look for something more lasting to base their principles on because what they have got now will eventually fall apart. The first to state his case seems right until another comes and cross-examines him.
