Thing is,"I could care less" and "I could not care less" both say essentially the same thing.

In fact,"I could not care less" could also mean that you can only care more.

You mean like how liberals including Congressmen have been encouraging people to get in Trump supporters faces and confront them wherever they meet them?

One semi-redeeming factor I've heard is that once the cameras are turned off these people act differently and actually come up to reporters and ask for an autograph or a selfie with them. The way I've heard it described is that these people treat it like a wrestling event where the media are the villains and everyone is acting their part. So the people cheer their hero (Trump) and boo and jeer the villains (the media, liberals etc) and then after the show's over revert to normal and want the autograph of all the stars and celebrities who were actors in the "show".

I'm not sure whether these people not seeing it as "real" and viewing it as a "show" makes it better or worse. If Trump wasn't actually the President when he left the stage, and was only an actor playing the President for the duration of the show, that would make a big difference. But, as it is, it just makes me wonder how connected to reality his followers actually are. Because when the administration is stealing children or dropping bombs, that's not a show and it's dangerous to think of it as one.

So have those on the right. Take the organization David Duke heads and whose endorsement trump did not rebuff.

We could go title for tat on this. But it would be useless. Two wrongs never make a right, and I'm just as disgusted with the irresponsible rhetoric that is motivating some to violence against the police as I am this video.

What you fail to realize is that Trump's behavior produces escalations and chaos from BOTH sides! His irresponsible behavior is fanning hatred and unrest with equal opportunity.

As informed as you claim to be (ha!), I'm surprised you never heard of the pink hats shaped like female genitalia that some on the left took to wearing at rallies and marches after Trump won the election. I can't say the more common name for them without violating tWeb decorum.

Two problems Jim, first you keep pointing out problems with Trump supporters but you never point at the left. Second, Trump supporters are simply fed up with the bias in the media. I would not have acted that way, but I understand why they did. And yes, I will remain associated with them even if I do not agree with everything they do.

Oh the pink woolen hats. LOL, did that trigger you guys? I was just like "yup, they're all wearing pink hats, ~clicks next article~"

pink hats shaped like female genitalia

Um, no. They were shaped like cats with cat ears. It was, literally, a cat hat. Because another name for cat is... and that was a pun with regard to things Trump grabs without asking.

It leaves me wondering if you've ever actually seen any female genitals and if so what was wrong with them such that you thought woolen hats with cat-ears looked like them.

So wait, did you crazies here all think that the pink cat hats were visually offensive because you all thought they were literally a depiction of female genitalia? Did any of you actually see the pink beanies with cat ears on them, or were you all too triggered by the name to actually look at any pictures of people wearing them???

Fake news. Trump explicitly disavowed David Duke and the KKK.

He rebuffed him multiple times but kept being asked about until one time he replied he wasn't sure who he was and since that time he didn't specifically rebuff him for the umpteenth time the MSM characterized it as Trump accepting the endorsement.

And if you want to play that game neither the DNC or Hillary renounced the support from Communist Party USA (CPUSA).

Part and parcel of the same gig. I hit you, you hit back. Yuor friend steps in and hits me. My friend steps in and so on. The catalyst for the recent escalations is in many cases Trump. The rest is, unfortunately, human behavior.

But trump loves it. He loves having people on his side fighting for him. He loves creating chaos and having chaos around him. So he'll keep feeding the fire.

It will be up to the adults in the room to take it down a notch. But as you point out - are there any adults left in the room? Certainly not the Congressmen you mention.

And to the op. Is this who you are?

Nobody was "triggered", as far as I know, but the shape of the hats and the name they were given were clearly intended to offend. But let's ignore all that and condemn a handful of Trump supporters flipping off a CNN camera. As they say, if liberals didn't have double standards then they wouldn't have any standards at all.
