  • Bipartisan Senate Intelligence panel concludes Russia meddled

The Senate Intelligence committee, consisting of 7 Republicans and 6 Democrats has released a report today, concluding that Russia meddled in the elections to help Trump and hurt Hillary.

Findings that Russia meddled to help Trump beat Clinton were 'accurate and on point': Senate intel panel:

Findings by the intelligence community that Russia meddled in the 2016 presidential election to help Donald Trump win were "accurate and on point,"

The Senate committee appears to be taking their job seriously, unlike the House intelligence committee whos chairman (Trump co-conspirator Devin Nunes) has made a joke out of by so openly sabotaging it and having such obvious bias and conflicts of interest.
"I hate him passionately", he's "a demonic force" - Tucker Carlson, in private, on Donald Trump
"Every line of serious work that I have written since 1936 has been written, directly or indirectly, against totalitarianism and for democratic socialism" - George Orwell
"[Capitalism] as it exists today is, in my opinion, the real source of evils. I am convinced there is only one way to eliminate these grave evils, namely through the establishment of a socialist economy" - Albert Einstein

It's a relief to know that there's some integrity left in Congress, particularly after the biased House Report led by Trump stooge Nunes. So now we have the Senate Committee agreeing with the original Intel assessments that Russia interfered in 2016 to help Trump win the election and discredit Hillary. It worked, the US now has a fake president who owes Putin big time. And it shows.

Once in a 'Blue Moon' Fox may on occasion get something right, but considering the the habitual lying tRump is recruiting FOX News to fill his cabinet and staff. FOX's batting average may approach 0.000.

At present tRump is citing FOX verbatum regularly:

President Donald Trump appeared to rely on a dubious Fox News report Tuesday morning to unleash an attack on his predecessor, accusing President Barack Obama, without any real evidence, of granting citizenship to 2,500 Iranians as part of nuclear deal negotiations.
"Just out that Obama Administration granted citizenship, during the terrible Iran Deal negotiation, to 2,500 Iranians - including to government officials," Trump tweeted. "How big (and bad) is that?"

Jeff Prescott, the former senior director on Obama's National Security Council, called Trump's allegation "absurd and entirely false."

It's hilarious how liberals are breathing a big sigh of relief over this report when, first of all, the committee members all but openly signaled their bias and anti-Trump agenda from the start (for instance, committee head Mark Warner has close ties to Russian oligarchs who he secretly communicated with in 2017 in an effort to get the phony "golden showers dossier" released), and, secondly, the committee's report relies in large part on disclosures from the intelligence agencies who's ability to speak accurately and honestly about these matters is very much in question after the stunning revelations from the House Intelligence Committee and the Inspector General's report.

And true to the narrative, they're still being vague about what exactly Russia did and how it influenced the election. Even Mueller found himself was caught with his pants down when his indictment against the 13 "Russian trolls" blew up in his face. When challenged in court -- which he apparently never expected to happen -- he first tried to delay the trial, but when that didn't work he claimed that he couldn't show the evidence because it was a secret, and then when that didn't work, he finally claimed to have terabytes worth of evidence, but it's all in Russian, and he doesn't have English translations for it! It's like a plot from a sitcom.

While the FBI and CIA had "high confidence" that Russian President Vladimir Putin aspired to help Trump's election chances by denigrating opponent Hillary Clinton, the NSA had only "moderate confidence" in that assessment, according to the January 2017 analysis.
