Even Franklin Graham is not okay with this situation: https://www.charlotteobserver.com/la...213142754.html
I am sickened by Sarah Huckabee Sanders quoting the Bible to defend the status quo. As a fundamentalist friend of mine pointed out, it's sad when at the press briefing, the reporter from Playboy has a more moral view on an issue than the daughter of a Baptist pastor. If you're going to Romans 13 this issue, then you might as well invoke Romans 13 when a woman wants to go to the abortion clinic, too. Laws just don't define morality."I am not angered that the Moral Majority boys campaign against abortion. I am angry when the same men who say, "Save OUR children" bellow "Build more and bigger bombers." That's right! Blast the children in other nations into eternity, or limbless misery as they lay crippled from "OUR" bombers! This does not jell." - Leonard Ravenhill

The party of separating families, lying, not taking personal responsibility (aka Republicans), is unsurprisingly, not taking personal responsibility for this and lying.
Serial liar Sarah Huckabee Sanders is spreading the lie that, of all people, the Democrats are to blame for the Trump Administration's deliberate decision to separate families.
Her 'logic' goes like this: If only the Democrats (who's votes aren't needed since Republicans control all the branches of government) would work more with the Trump administration to change the system to be even harsher on immigrants, then the Trump administration wouldn't need to continue their campaign of terror against families in order to disincentivize immigration. So it's all the Democrats fault, QED.
I think it's time to call out these people for what they are: Absolutely despicable, immoral, evil, monsters. If there's a hell, they're going to it."I hate him passionately", he's "a demonic force" - Tucker Carlson, in private, on Donald Trump
"Every line of serious work that I have written since 1936 has been written, directly or indirectly, against totalitarianism and for democratic socialism" - George Orwell
"[Capitalism] as it exists today is, in my opinion, the real source of evils. I am convinced there is only one way to eliminate these grave evils, namely through the establishment of a socialist economy" - Albert Einstein

I note that almost zero conservative posters here have had the guts to vote in the poll at the start of this thread regarding whether they support the policy.
I guess if the November midterms end up being run primarily on the topic of whether families should be separated or not, we'll find out then where US conservatives truly stand on their "values"."I hate him passionately", he's "a demonic force" - Tucker Carlson, in private, on Donald Trump

On Thursday, White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders, a conservative Christian, answered a question about Sessions' comments, saying, "it is very biblical to enforce the law."
There are, of course, Christians opposing Session and Huckabee.
And here is another interesting part:
I wonder how long the evangelicals in general are going to tolerate Trump's policy and the fact that it is associated with a book they reagard as holy and that his mandate is dependent on them.Last edited by Charles; 06-16-2018, 04:17 AM.

I can't see the value in voting in your poll in an attempt to somehow convince you that I'm up to your moral standards. You're obviously a bigot....>>> Witty remark or snarky quote of another poster goes here <<<...
