Welter rushed for three carries for −1 yards." Not surprising because she got demolished every time she touched the ball.

It seems she was offered a brief coaching internship with the Arizona Cardinals and is no longer attached to any football team.

So, yeah, not the best example you could have used to support your position.

          • '''''''10%'''''''' is crap comparison. Men more heavy, but even though more weight to move, still faster!!

            Likely 30%+ difference in strength.

Acknowledged. I looked for female football player in a rush...and didn't read the entire article. My bad

              Try this one: https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/t...ts-set-on-nfl/

As I said, perhaps not linebacker... but I can see female kickers, tight ends, running backs, wide receivers, and perhaps even quarterbacks.

At the NFL level? Doubtful. It takes elite skills to play professional football, and an average 10% skills gap becomes highly significant.

I think any position other than kicker is far too dangerous for a woman. It's just a simple biological fact that in any head-to-head physical competition, the average woman will be outmatched by the average man. This has nothing to do with bias or discrimination or any other liberal buzzword you can think of.

In a sport that is based on strength, as I have noted, I suspect that is likely. Endurance...less so. Skill? I find that unlikely.

My point, all along, was that Pix was making absolute claims for which she had only partial data. We know there is a biological difference. We suspect there is also a cultural/social one. We do not know to what degree each contributes to the current gap between men and women. If women were not repeatedly told they couldn't compete against men, would their performance against men increase 1%? 5%? 10%? No data exists to determine this. So a claim that cultural/social influence has "zero impact" is simply not defensible.

I'll be watching our first female scholarship for football kicker closely.

They don't. Who is to say they can't?

That being said, I suspect because running is a combination of endurance and strength. But I am frankly guessing. I don't know of any data on that.

No, it is mostly endurance, and no they can't compete. Again, look at the times of the top long distance runners between men and women. Not even close.

Wait, wait, wait. Are you trying to say that men and women are somehow different?
