I don't think we have to worry. Trump has apparently come away from North Korea with some warm fuzzy words, and little substance (that we can see, anyway). We've been down this road before, with one major difference: Kim Jong Un just got the "leader" of the most powerful country on earth to meet with him personally on the basis of his nuclear program, with little cost to him except some vague promises to keep talking. So, in a manner of speaking, Trump has given Un a face-saving olive branch. We'll have to see what comes of it long term.
