Without looking at the link first, my first impression is...WHY did he/they do this? Was it to rescue massive amounts of people from starvation or some such equally imperative, drastic situation? I could see it for something like that...maybe...
But on the surface with just the facts given, it looks REALLY bad for the administration in question."What has the Church gained if it is popular, but there is no conviction, no repentance, no power?" - A.W. Tozer
"... there are two parties in Washington, the stupid party and the evil party, who occasionally get together and do something both stupid and evil, and this is called bipartisanship." - Everett Dirksen

My view is:
1. I am utterly skeptical of the OP alleged facts. Some jerk writing an opinion piece in the link that's probably full of more manure than the local fertilizer plant doesn't count as evidence. Come back in a month if and when everyone is agreed those are actually facts and then we can have this discussion.
2. International diplomacy is complicated and usually operates on multiple levels simultaneously. Governments do sometimes deal in secrets. It's pretty common for parts of agreements to be secret.
3. Whatever the method, the outcomes of Obama's diplomacy with Iran have been incredibly good. Iran seems to be successfully transitioning from a terrorist-supporting anti-American regime towards a democratic, open, and Western-friendly country. It's not fully there yet, but it's on the path. The Iran Deal on the surface at least looks like one of the greatest diplomatic successes of the past couple of decades. If Obama hadn't already been unnecessarily awarded the Nobel Peace Prize by the international community for not being a complete loser like Bush, I would suggest Obama be nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize for the Iran deal."I hate him passionately", he's "a demonic force" - Tucker Carlson, in private, on Donald Trump
"Every line of serious work that I have written since 1936 has been written, directly or indirectly, against totalitarianism and for democratic socialism" - George Orwell
"[Capitalism] as it exists today is, in my opinion, the real source of evils. I am convinced there is only one way to eliminate these grave evils, namely through the establishment of a socialist economy" - Albert Einstein

This is almost as unburdened by facts as your claim that Stalin was really some sort of right winger
Reality. Try it sometime.
