Seems a very boring speech so far. Trump seems to be playing it pretty safe, and trying to demonstrate he can read a boring teleprompter speech to the end without too much ad lib.

P.S. It's over now... Trump seems very low energy. And the whole thing seems like State of the Token Sob Stories. Commentators are saying it's not normal to have dragged this many people to the speech to tell their sob stories during the SOTU speech. Guess Trump has nothing much to actually say about what he's done, so he's limited to telling random people's stories.

Of those, I'd agree with the not progressive enough, and add too corrupt/corporatist, too unknown and too boring.

It's State of the Uniom. They literally wrote that on the invites and subsequently had to recall them:

Kennedy's reply was even slower and more boring than Trump's speech (I had to watch Trump at 1.5x speed, but Kennedy needed 2.0x speed).

Kennedy failed to mention any of:
- Medicare for all
- Free college
- New new deal
- Ending the wars
- Legalizing marijuana
- Getting money out of politics

And he only mentioned a living wage once.

Corporate dems are so weak, that's why they lose.
