My little cousin, Ray, couldn't say the "tr" sound - it sounds like "f" - and they lived near a fire station, so whenever the fire truck would roll down his street, he would yell.... well.....

I have an older cousin who, I was told, had a problem with his Ls which came out as Ys. His next door neighbor and best friend was Linda and his brothers would often mock him as they grew up because he would say "Yinda, yets go down a yook at the yake."

He also said he wanted a "castrater" for Christmas but nobody knew what he was talking about. That was until one day while he and my aunt were standing in line at the grocery store when suddenly he pointed at the cash register and shouted "Look (maybe "yook") mommy! That's a castrater."
