All men have a "taste for teenagers". Most women would have hit peak beauty by 19. For all we know Moore was just looking for a pretty wife who wouldn't hit her expiration date too soon. We know (maybe) about the 16 year olds but he did end up marrying a 24 year old so there's no saying he was looking for them exclusively."As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths." Isaiah 3:12

Jones supports killing babies. Moore opposes killing babies.
Unless someone actually proves he did something criminal back then or is doing something immoral now, I'll vote for Moore."He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain that which he cannot lose." - Jim Elliot

Senator Susan Collins says that McConnell saying he won't seat Moore if he wins is an empty threat, that they will be legally required to seat him.

Good thing, because think of the dangerous precedent that could be set allowing the leader of the Senate to arbitrarily refuse to seat duly elected senators. Some may call me foolish, and some may call me odd

Another accuser has surfaced saying she and her mother met with Moore to sign custody of her 12-year old over to her mother, and that as she was leaving, Moore grabbed her buttocks. Naturally, she didn't say anything about it to anybody until years later when she told her sister that Moore made her feel "uncomfortable" but apparently failed to mention the butt-grab. And then the two of them kept it to themselves until today, just in time to replace the yearbook signature fiasco in the news cycle. What a coincidence!
Looks like the Democrats are trying the same "All these accusers can't possibly be lying!" gambit they pulled on Trump, and we know how that turned out. The Swamp plays dirty, no doubt about it.
And speaking of the yearbook signature fiasco, latest development is that the lawyer won't let Moore's legal team examine the yearbook to determine if it's legit unless the Senate basically agrees to begin prosecuting Moore.Last edited by Mountain Man; 11-15-2017, 08:17 PM.Some may call me foolish, and some may call me odd

If Alabamans believe the women, then they have to decide whether they want this man representing them in the U.S. Senate. Thats all.The first to state his case seems right until another comes and cross-examines him.

Allred won't let Moore's handwriting specialist analyze the yearbook (I give it 50/50 the yearbook mysteriously disappears) unless it's during a Senate inquiry. Unfortunately for her he should be able to obtain it during discovery for a defamation lawsuit, and it looks like Moore will launch one. Hopefully Allred gets put away for good, it's amazing she still has her license."As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths." Isaiah 3:12

Honestly, I would almost sooner believe he was a real rapist than I would believe that he actually put the date on a yearbook signature...twice. Also, the printed "e" looks totally different.
Regardless, I still think it's comical that people even care about all this old stuff. Just shows how stupid the voters are. We've got one guy who supports the murder of children, endorses sodomy, and worships Satan. Then, on the Republican side, we have a guy who was supposedly sort of a jerk forty years ago, before he got married.
