Trump administration and private mail

White House aides regularly used personal devices for official business according to both Politico and the New York Times. R. Preibus apparently tried to stop the practice but to no avail.

J. Kushner, according to the charge, has used his private E-Mail to send and recieve over 100 work related communications since the beginning of this administration. He withheld that info from Congress when questioned, and thats not occasional use of ones private server.

And Trey Gowdy, Republican chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee has opened investigations into the matter, which would be silly if the charges weren't a violation of policy.


Lastly, as I have already posted, the Presidents Press Secretary stated that: All White House personell have been instructed to use official E-mail to conduct all government related work. They were further instructed that if they should recieve work related communications they should be forwarded to official E-mail accounts.

When Trump took over, the policy allowed for use of private email for official business as long as the official email address was cc'd. Kushner was within his right to use it as long as it wasn't classified, and providing he cc'd his official address. There is no indication that he didn't. Gowdy is making sure that procedure was followed. That takes time. Since this became an issue, the President verbally locked down the policy to only official email addresses, and if someone outside sent something to a personal email address, it was to be forwarded to the official address for action and response if necessary. No one has done anything wrong. Except Hillary.

Hillary did not just use a private email account like on gmail or something, she actually had her very own server with her own "security" (or lack thereof) and she used it for ALL of her official government communications, and did not forward any of it to her government email address, and she sent classified documents through it. She did everything wrong that she possibly could, and then she accidentally ERASED the emails when the FBI came looking into it, and actually destroyed phones and hardware. Yet YOU and the others liberals defended her. And now you want to whine about people in Trump's cabinet who are actually following the rules? And you want to call US "hypocrites?"

Don't forget she even instructed aids to try to remove any evidence that the emails were classified when they sent them.
