I most definitely would not consider it any form of Theism. It is a common view among agnostics. Life force could mean many things even pantheism.

The survey specifically points out that only those who had selected, "You don't believe there is any sort of spirit, God or life force" are atheists. They do this by pointing out that "atheists" are most common in France and the Czech Republic for having selected that particular phrase.

The survey conclusion is based upon the answers given regardless, and if only 33% say they believe in a god, then only 33% believe in god. If the other 67% say they believe in something else, but not god, then they don't believe in god. Common sense!

It isn't common sense. Atheists don't believe in spirits or life forces, and they certainly know what they believe in (contrary your buddy shunya up there, pantheists and agnostics are not atheists).

Well we will have to agree to disagree then Adrift. To me, If 100 people are asked if they believe in god and only 33 answer in the affirmative, then I take that to mean that only 33 believe in god. The remainder may believe in other things like life force or whatever, but if they don't believe in god, then they don't believe in god, and if they don't believe in god then they are atheists

The remainder may believe in other things like life force or whatever, but if they don't believe in god, then they don't believe in god.

If 100 people were asked if they believe in God, and 33 answered that they absolutely did, but another 42 said, "well, I don't know about God, per se, but I certainly believe in something supernatural...spirits, life force, something...", and then 22 people were like, "Absolutely not. There's no God, no life force, no spirits of any kind at all", and then 3 people were all, "I have no idea one way or the other". A reasonable observer should not come to the conclusion that that group is then "atheistic".
