Not to the US site but I have donated to the Red Cross, as well as Medical Aid for Palestine and Médecins Sans Frontière. How about you?

Nope, probably won't as I have other charity priorities.

I am not sure that military intervention in another country is always a good idea. The USA tried it in Iraq... twice... and look how that turned out.

If I were going to suggest the EU militarily intervene, I would do so only to point out the dismal state of the militaries of the member states. The only reason to entertain the EU is to drive a wedge between the EU and the US.

Being an American, you are donating to all sorts of globalist causes through your tax dollars - without your express permission. No need to take on extra causes.

To be fair, I'm not opposed to foreign aid expenditures. They not only serve humanitarian purposes, but also geopolitical ones.

As for me individually, I prefer domestic needs. I also have preferred causes regarding international charity. As a personal rule, I also don't donate to the most notable charities as they already have donors.

I woman I know had a friend or relative (can't recall which) who was high up in the American Red Cross. She categorically refused to donate money to the organization due to the way they spent donations.

I gave the American Red Cross link as it is part of an international aid organisation. However, I suspect various international Christian charities are also involved in aid for the Sudanese people
