You are welcome to not continue, but you were the one bringing up energy needs. Energy needs will not get lower, they will increase as we get more people, and bring more and more nations into the modern world which runs off of energy. Nuclear or Fusion is really the only viable 'green' energy source we can rely on for that. At least as compared to solar and wind power and other renewable sources. They are just too inefficient to keep up with energy demands. Especially solar. Putting solar farms on land that could be used better as farm land or other uses is not very efficient or wise, for example. Solar is best used as a supplemental power source to ease the burden of other power generating sources. Not as a replacement.

You don't need to be a nuclear physicist to understand the basic principals of how nuclear power plants work. Whenever you are out of your depth you toss out the "the topic is complex" and run away.

How do you know? Are you a nuclear physicist? It's a very complex topic. Perhaps you should not comment on things you do not have expertise in. Like any sort of energy production, or climate change. You are not a climatologist are you? Climate is a very complex topic. Or on legal cases like in the OP. You are not a lawyer either. Law is a complex topic.
