Yeah, I don't believe it's quite that bad, but it's certainly been a circus.

By the way, the picture would be more accurate if the guy on the left were in a hospital bed on life support.

True, republicans have done their very best to kill him, but as you have seen, and as the above depicts, its the GOP on the right thats dying a slow death. I'm praying they stay dead!

Kid: And that would make it much harder to become a law.

Of course, the modern version of the song (from 2014) would go more like this anyway:

The Republicans have been quietly sabotaging it with various small measures to ensure it fails under the cumulative weight of them.

Without the deliberate Republican sabotage it would have been fine. There's nothing fundamentally wrong with the system itself. (Other than being a poor substitute for a medicare-for-all single-payer system)

Your never ending efforts to totally misrepresent what you read is noted, and is a symptom of your foolish black disingenuous heart. Unless, of course, you're simply that stupid.

"we"? You mean, when you spew forth idiocy, and some of your liberal friends have to come in and explain what you meant to say?

He genuinely didn't know about it. He's generally not very well informed when it comes to the news and/or the awful things republican politicians are doing.

He thinks if he just takes the Bill O'Reilly approach of pretending confidence and bloviating, without listening to what you say, then he'll muddle through somehow.

That's right. Obamacare is not failing, although it certainly needs some fine-tuning, it's being deliberately sabotaged by the Republicans. it has been in some states from the very beginning. Heaven forbid that an Obama initiative might be successful in alleviating the dire burdens of the undeserving poor.

Why on earth should McCain or anyone else in the Senate trust the House not to pass the bill as is? Its just dumb, dumb, dumb!
First off, the house plan wasn't that bad. Some things I don't particularly think were well thought out or explained, and a few others try to dull the consequences, but overall, IMO it is a better step in the right direction than Obamacare.

See above. Putting your trust in the House, the House which has already passed a worse bill, is just dumb Bill. Thats why McCain killed it!
From your leftist "what's yours is mine" mentality, I'm not surprised you think it's dumb. McCain betrayed the Republicans out of an irrational fear.

Its all about the money Bill.
As is everything they do. That, and re-election.

Ryan track record, which I'm sure you know nothing of,
                                You'd be dead wrong.

has nothing to do with it. The house is free to bring it to a vote as is even though it failed in the Senate. The whole process was ridiculous. Get a grip.
I don't know why I bother. You're too stupid to understand what a reconciliation bill is anyway...

Bill, the Senate failed to pass the bill, do you understand the difference.
Of course I do. YOU don't.
