You made a claim you couldn't support

I tend to watch a lot of video clips as my primary US news sources, and in formats where unrelated clips appear in longer videos (as the news commentator will play the clip and then make commentary on its content). I've seen clips of multiple US officials making such claims in video interviews.

That's not a format that's easily searchable, and generally I don't recall which longer (often multi-hour) commentary piece played the particular clip being talked about, so when you regularly unduly pretend I haven't watched what I've literally witnessed, and start demanding links, I have to go to google and start searching for written news pieces about the thing I saw happen on video which is something you could equally do if you wanted to know about the subject.

You could just be less of a tosspot and just believe me. I don't lie. The "support" is I witnessed it happen and am telling you I saw it happen, and in demanding further support for that you are essentially impugning my character because you are essentially saying I am lying about what I saw. And then you turn around and whine that that I'm being "nasty" in my response to you impugning my character.

I don't think CP or anyone is claiming you are lying, but judging by what you said, you seem to be watching highly biased and false videos because most of what you said is just wrong. Not sure if they edited it out of context, or what but your world view is just way off from what at least I see over here (don't want to speak for anyone else on that)

Absolutely correct - I never said nor implied he's lying - I 100% believe that HE believes the incredibly biased crap he posts.

Maybe just confirmation bias. I think we all do to some extent. We tend to accept what we already believe and doubt what we do not. I think he just watches too much melodramatic liberal sources who want to characterize the right as evil tyrants wanting to take over the world.
