Not sure I'd describe what happened as that... I'd say I voluntarily took some reasonable precautions for my own safety during a pandemic and strongly recommended others do the same and that they be mandatory to stop the pandemic killing people unnecessarily.

Being skeptical of the motives of the powerful is kinda inherent to being left wing or socialist. It's kinda interesting you seem to be so right-wing (which, by its nature, endorses the power structures of society and the rule of the powerful) but pretend here to be skeptical of the motives of the powerful.
