Right, I made that point in another thread. Thats exactly what I believe happened. The Sarin probably came from Russia itself for this sole purpose, to kill a hundred or so innocent Syrian civilians in order to give Trump the opportunity to look good, to look as though he is not tied to Putin. Putin probably instructed Trump to attack Syria. There is method to his madness!

A decent hypothesis. But remember Trump looked like he had no clue for a few days after it happened. Putin certainly didn't seem to have given anyone in the Trump administration a heads-up that it was going to happen.

It makes me think that Turkey is possibly the more likely culprit. They want to pretend it was Assad in order to discredit him. Then I think Putin + Trump made the most of it by agreeing that Trump should do a symbolic strike against Russian interests in Syria to look strong / show he's not a Russian puppet.

Yeah, but Trump always looks as though he has no clue, and I'll bet you can guess why he always looks that way. But remember, Putin is KGB, and he can always find a way to communicate with Trump if he really needs to.

I don't think they could do that though without it being detected, and U.S intelligence tracked the aircraft and has it that they came from that Syrian airfield.

Cannot say I actually looked at agitpro- I mean, all news report evidence!!! But a priori I would agree to big extent!! Looks most likely that third party did it, then Putin and Trump make best out of 'Assad did it!!!' FAKE NEWS.
