    Wouldn't a shakedown happen in private? It doesn't make sense to try to shake him down by delivering the punishment. "Give me money or I'll call you a rapist" he said on national television.

    That's some pretty high effort blackmail. Building a time machine like that to shake down the future mayor of Seattle.
