Now PolitiFact is free to say whatever they want, but according to the official Capitol police timeline (which was in the link I provided earlier), they did consider an offer from the White House to bring in National Guard troops, but the offer was ultimately rejected by the Sergeant of Arms who answers to the Speaker of the House.

Those are the basic facts. Isn't it amazing how short and concise an argument can be when one simply states the facts?

You haven't been paying attention if you haven't noticed how the Democrats* have become everything they claim Republicans are. Both sides have their share of authoritarians busybodies, but only Republicans are actually fighting for important values like freedom of speech.

*Like a kid being assaulted for wearing a MAGA hat, death threats to people who disagree with them, racist rhetoric against those that disagree with them and more. As the far left gains power these things become more normalized, and people closer to the middle end up getting pushed further to one side or another.

I have suspected there were numerous claims Ox was just totally making up, but - I have to admit - I was a little surprised when he gave that "look it up yourself" type of response.
